How to Answer the “Tell Me About Yourself” question

Have you ever found yourself at a job interview or a recent Dereja job fair being asked the question, “tell me about yourself” or “what do you do?” or “where do you see yourself in 5 years?” It is difficult to answer these questions in a simple but direct manner when you are put on the spot.

An elevator pitch is a brief, persuasive speech that highlights your skill and qualifications, aiming to spark interest in others about you. A good elevator pitch, whether delivered in Amharic or English, should last no longer than a short elevator ride of 20 to 30 seconds, hence the name.
