About our Annual Job Fair
The Dereja will host its Annual Job fair the 25th of July 2019. The job fair will also have a companion Human Resources conference. Prominent HR professionals will discuss about the need for employee engagement in HR strategies across organization in Ethiopia.
Dereja hosts this annual event to create sustainable dialogue between job seekers and employers. Attending employers will range from Multinational Corporations to NGOs. Moreover, aside from the job fair, Dereja believes to do achieve this goal effectively we need to also discuss on pertinent issues job seekers and employers face.
This year the companion conference will focus on one major aspects of creating a sustainable workplace. A major aspect of Human Resource development is knowing how to use each element involved to play their part in the process. Employees play a vital role in the successful operation of any organization as they are the implementers of the tasks and policies an organization sets.
Therefore, keeping the employees engaged will bring a sense of belongingness, purpose and motivate them by creating a work environment that encourages productivity and work satisfaction. Recently, some organizations in Ethiopia have started to integrate employee engagement practices into their workplaces. However, there is still a long way to go when it comes to making this a norm.
The discussion will focus on how this investment will help organizational performance and how it can lead to the creation of new jobs.
